Like most freelancers, Jessica knows all about multitasking. A freelance writer and content strategist, she manages several clients including a long-term contract with Only In Your State and a gig interviewing Days of our Lives stars (see photo above), but still makes time for frequent family excursions. To make it all work, she says, “I have been known to work quite a bit from the passenger seat of our Nissan Rogue. With my husband behind the wheel, I can usually knock out an article or two on our road trip and arrive at the destination ready for fun!”
When she’s not working from home, the car, or interviewing soap stars, she heads to her favorite neighborhood coffee shop, C&P Coffee Company.

The best and the worst feature of my home office is that it’s in my kitchen! Other than that, I love my bright pink chair. It adds so much character to my space.

When I’m at home or traveling, I’m usually with my husband and our 4-year-old daughter. She’s a beautiful distraction, so sometimes I head to the coffee shop when I really need to focus.
