Rolling Remote

Rolling Remote With Lasma Berg

With two remote jobs, Lasma’s remote work life is a busy one. She works for Financer.com, a financial-tech company, as an executive country manager and is the founder of Remote Nest, a site that helps people set up a remote career and improve their digital marketing skills.

Lasma takes full advantage of the remote work lifestyle by chasing summer year-round; hopping between her oceanside beach house in New Zealand and #vanlife in Canada. Her and her partner have also traveled across the U.S., Mexico, Europe, and Canada in their self-contained mini van while working remotely.

One of her favorite memories? “…working from the van some days in the middle of nowhere, listening to the bird songs, and soaking in the beautiful mountain views.”

What are the 3 items you can’t live without while working remotely? (If you have a brand you love, please name them!)

  1. Wireless Microsoft mouse
  2. My Samsung Note 9 smartphone – I prefer this over the iPhone due to its battery life, ability to do heavier work and more flexible app use
  3. Universal travel adapter (my setup is mixed with items from Canada and New Zealand, so this is a must-have item)
