The Best Job Sites for People Who Want to Work From Home

You’ve made the decision to become independent and work remotely. The next step is finding a job that allows you to work from home. Luckily, there are plenty of job sites out there designed just for that purpose, and will help you find the remote work job of your dreams

1. Flexjobs

It’s not free, but Flexjobs offers an incredible number of remote jobs to choose from. You can join for one month for $14.95 and in return, you’ll have access to remote work, freelance work, and flexible work. Set the advanced search settings to “100% remote work” to see jobs like Stationary Graphic Designer, Digital Marketing Specialist, Travel Consultant, or Python Developer.

2. Freelancer

This is a job website that is designed specifically for remote work. Freelancer lets remote workers browse thousands of jobs and bid on them. Companies are looking for workers to do specific tasks, like design a logo or write an article. To bid, you’ll have to create a profile. You can also certify your skills on the site to increase your chances of winning jobs.

3. Dynamite Jobs

This site is dedicated to helping you find 100 percent remote work. Dynamite Jobs first asks you to upload your resume and fill out a short questionnaire before you can browse the available jobs. They have remote opportunities in marketing, operations, customer support, and business development. 

4. HubStaff Talent

On HubStaff Talent, businesses search for talent and talent can search for businesses. You can find remote work jobs that are full time, hourly contract, or fixed price. The site lets businesses browse by skills, including:

  • Marketing and sales
  • Design and multimedia
  • Writing and content
  • Database and IT
  • Admin
  • Business consulting

5. AngelList

If you want to get a job at a start up, this is the place to start. On AngelList, one application lets you apply to over 100,000 remote jobs at start up companies around the world. It also lets you network and find jobs through your connections list, which it builds by importing contacts from your Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, and Slack accounts (this step is optional).

It also provides a list of the top 100 remote companies that are hiring

Looking for a remote job in the customer service, marketing, or tech fields? Jobspresso is a great place to start, and it’s a job site you probably will want to check every day. Some of the types of hand-picked remote jobs posted include full stack developer, customer support representative, and communication specialist.

This job site has a clean, easy to use layout and tons of available remote jobs. You don’t have to create a profile to browse the listings, just dive right in. Remote sorts your search several different ways. You can choose full time, part time, or freelance work. You can also sort jobs by beginner, intermediate, or expert experience.
